Dein Studium ist in vollem Gange und Du fragst dich schon, was danach kommt? Hast Du Fragen zum Berufseinstieg und zur Karrieregestaltung? Möchtest Du kompetente Antworten und praktische Ratschläge von erfahrenen Personen?
Genau dafür gibt es das Mentoring-Programm von Universität Basel und AlumniBasel! Wir matchen Dich mit einer erfahrenen Berufsperson aus Deinem Fach, die Dir als Mentor:in während einem Jahr beratend zur Seite steht und Dich auf Deinem Weg in die Berufswelt begleitet.
Als Ehemalige der Universität Basel unterstützen Dich unsere Mentor:innen mit ihren persönlichen Erfahrungen beim Berufseinstieg, zeigen Dir Karrieremöglichkeiten oder alternative Wege auf und helfen Dir, Dich persönlich weiterzuentwickeln. Im Zentrum des Mentoring-Programms steht dabei der gegenseitige Austausch zwischen Mentor:in und anvertrautem:r Mentee.
Das Mentoring-Programm…
… ist eine Kooperation von AlumniBasel und der Nachwuchsförderung der Universität Basel, mit dem Ziel, Studierende in ihrer persönlichen und beruflichen Entwicklung zu fördern. Diverse Abteilungen unterstützen das gesamtuniversitäre Programm mit Workshops und weiteren Angeboten. Das Mentoring-Programm steht Studierende aller Fächer und Studienstufen offen (Bachelor, Master und Doktorat) und ist nicht kompetitiv.
Als Mentee…
… tauschst Du dich zwischen Oktober 2024 und Juni 2025 an mindestens drei Treffen mit Deinem:r Mentor:in aus.
… nimmst Du am Kick-off-Event im Oktober 2024 ab 18 Uhr und an der Abschlussveranstaltung Ende Juni 2025 teil.
… formulierst Du Deine Ziele und Wünsche für das Mentoringprogramm und die Zusammenarbeit mit der Mentorin oder dem Mentor.
… gehst Du aktiv auf Deine Mentoring oder Deinen Mentor zu, vereinbarst Termine und bereitest die Treffen vor.
… machst Du einen wichtigen Schritt, um Deinen Übertritt vom Studium ins Berufsleben zu gestalten.
Anmeldung
Die Anmeldung für das Mentoring-Programm öffnet im Juli 2024. Es sind in dieser Runde 60 Plätze verfügbar.

Become a Mentee!
Your studies are in full swing and you are already wondering what comes next? Do you have any questions about starting and shaping your career? Would you like competent answers and practical advice from experienced people?
That's exactly what the mentoring program of the University of Basel and AlumniBasel is for! We will match you with an experienced professional in your field, who will advise you as a mentor for one year and accompany you on your way into the professional world.
As alumni of the University of Basel, our mentors support you with their personal experience as you start your career, point out career opportunities or alternative paths, and help you develop personally. The mutual exchange between mentor and mentee lies at the heart of the mentoring program.
The mentoring program...
... is a cooperation between AlumniBasel and the University of Basel's Young Talent Development Program, with the aim of supporting students in their personal and professional development. Various departments support the university-wide program with workshops and other offers.
As a mentee...
... you will meet your mentor at least three times between October 2024 and June 2025.
... you will take part in the kick-off event in October 2024 from 6 p.m. and the closing event at the end of June 2025.
... you will formulate your goals and wishes for the mentoring program and your exchange with the mentor.
... you will actively approach your mentor, make appointments and prepare the meetings.
... you are taking an important step in shaping your transition from university to professional life.
